An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lundström in the 4th minute of play forced Bälinge IF's goalkeeper Alfons Brogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefano von Stetten in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaj Fors saved Fc Österäng from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Bälinge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Hjelm came free, but Alfons Brogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 14 in the game by Stefano von Stetten from a close distance when the talented Kaj Fors managed to make a qualified save. Fc Österäng's players were relieved. In the 17th match minute, Fc Österäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Fristedt to maneuver through the defense. Lars-Erik Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kaj Fors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kåre Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfons Brogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Lundström in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Kaj Fors managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Bälinge IF's Stefano von Stetten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 40 minutes of play, Bälinge IF's Stefano von Stetten made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaj Fors was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd match minute, Bälinge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Lundström to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lars-Erik Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Österäng's Kaj Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefano von Stetten in the 58th minute of play. Kaj Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefano von Stetten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefano von Stetten in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaj Fors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaj Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefano von Stetten's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Lundström got free with Alfons Brogren in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Bälinge IF's Gilbert Stenkvist got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Bälinge IF's Alfons Brogren got control of the ball when Sebastian Lundström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes Sebastian Lundström rounded Bälinge IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After some careless play in the Bälinge IF defense, Johannes Hjelm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfons Brogren. The Bälinge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfons Brogren should have stopped the shot. Alfons Brogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fc Österäng had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
