Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Hasselqvist started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Boström in the 6th minute of play forced Haby BoIS's goalkeeper Ingvar Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Örviken's Per-Erik Salqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingvar Sandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Hasselqvist went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Salqvist in the 17th minute of play forced Haby BoIS's goalkeeper Ingvar Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Haby BoIS's Algot Jakobsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Björn Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hasselqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Fredrik Hedin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Haby BoIS's Ingvar Sandberg. Ingvar Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute Jan-Åke Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Örviken booed when Haby BoIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Drewitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Haby BoIS's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hasselqvist came free, but Ingvar Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greger Svanström struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Sven-Ove Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haby BoIS. After the first half Örviken were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Örviken's Sven-Ove Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Svanström in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Greger Boström took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Ingvar Sandberg to make any attempt to save it. Ingvar Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Skoglund in the 62nd minute of play. Haby BoIS's Ingvar Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Boström in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Haby BoIS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Patrick Vassenius hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Greger Boström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingvar Sandberg. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 77th minute, Örviken's Simon Hasselqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ingvar Sandberg. Ingvar Sandberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Ingvar Sandberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Hasselqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 82 minute of play. Ingvar Sandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Åke Skoglund in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Haby BoIS's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Boström came free, but Ingvar Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Örviken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Simon Hasselqvist took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Ingvar Sandberg to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Örviken could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haby BoIS throughout the match.
