The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sven-Ove Sjödin scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Bergqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Östensson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Sven-Ove Sjödin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Wennerquist was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 17th match minute, Kränkta män FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Wennerquist to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Fernkvist in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Calle Fernkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Markus Engman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Bergqvist. Kränkta män FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Engman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Anders Gallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallsta RsdK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Gallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Calle Fernkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Kränkta män FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vallsta RsdK were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Fernkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kränkta män FC's Isac Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Fernkvist in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Holger Ekgren notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vallsta RsdK's Marcus Lindman. Marcus Lindman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Calle Fernkvist came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vallsta RsdK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Fernkvist couldn't finish the play. Sven-Ove Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Calle Fernkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anders Gallin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vallsta RsdK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Gallin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Kalfhage in the 79th minute of play forced Vallsta RsdK's goalkeeper Marcus Lindman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Sjödin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Anders Gallin sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Vallsta RsdK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kränkta män FC.
