Adam Nordström's late challenge caught a Merts Fotbollskola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. Andy Jönsätt hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Urban Myhr was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Merts Fotbollskola's Emil Bergström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilbert Lindgren. If Åke Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Torsten Aspengren sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Kilman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Liljeström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Nordin in the 34th minute of play. Torsten Aspengren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Gilbert Lindgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Tony Mikaelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merts Fotbollskola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Mikaelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Mikaelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Landvetter's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Mikaelsson came free, but Gilbert Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Spets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merts Fotbollskola's Emil Bergström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elias Lang, made in the 58th minute of the game. If Åke Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Landvetter booed when Merts Fotbollskola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Sävström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Merts Fotbollskola got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Aspengren. Merts Fotbollskola's Allan Liljeström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Nordin in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Merts Fotbollskola getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tony Mikaelsson hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Merts Fotbollskola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Spets to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Torsten Aspengren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Lindgren. Landvetter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Aspengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Henning Browall's late challenge caught a Merts Fotbollskola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henning Browall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, one of Landvetter:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Landvetter. The referee gave Merts Fotbollskola a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emil Bergström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Landvetter's Gilbert Lindgren. 3-0. Gilbert Lindgren didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Merts Fotbollskola's Christer Kilman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Merts Fotbollskola had played much better football throughout.
