The crowd rose to their feet as Attila Pálosi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manfred Skoog. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. If Attila Pálosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attila Pálosi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Manfred Skoog skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Attila Pálosi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Lund's Manfred Skoog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attila Pálosi might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Skoog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attila Pálosi ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfred Skoog was a little too slow when Arvid Springfält got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Olympique Lund's Rasmus Pilgren got a free kick in the 26th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Attila Pálosi from a close distance when the talented Manfred Skoog managed to make a qualified save. Olympique Lund's players were relieved. Arvid Springfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Skoog having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attila Pálosi in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfred Skoog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 39 in the game by Attila Pálosi from a close distance when the talented Manfred Skoog managed to make a qualified save. Olympique Lund's players were relieved. Attila Pálosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Skoog was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arvid Springfält showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attila Pálosi was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Lund's zone, Attila Pálosi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Skoog came out of the goal and Attila Pálosi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Pálosi scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manfred Skoog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Attila Pálosi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Skoog was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Manfred Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Pálosi in the 64th minute of play. In the 84th minute Attila Pálosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Skoog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Pálosi in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Skoog saved Olympique Lund from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Arvid Springfält notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Olympique Lund's Manfred Skoog. Manfred Skoog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arvid Springfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Kenta had played much better football throughout.
