Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alex Åström made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Tony Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Merts Fotbollskola got a freekick which was hit by Åke Sävström. When Åke Sävström came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Merts Fotbollskola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Sävström couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes of play, Merts Fotbollskola's Åke Sävström made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Brodin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allan Liljeström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Roy Isaksson made a precise shot to the right of Allan Liljeström. Merts Fotbollskola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Allan Liljeström came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mathooja FK's Alex Åström. But to his dismay, Alex Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jonas Fransson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kenneth Vallengren made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mathooja FK's Lars-Erik Öberg. In the 41st minute Åke Sävström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Sävström got free with Niklas Brodin in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Mikaelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Mikaelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roy Isaksson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Allan Liljeström firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Mikaelsson in the 56th minute of play forced Mathooja FK's goalkeeper Niklas Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Mathooja FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Fransson. 61 minutes into the game, Roy Isaksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Allan Liljeström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niklas Brodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Aspengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathooja FK's Roy Isaksson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Allan Liljeström. That made the score 2-4 after 68 minutes of play. Alex Åström took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Liljeström. Allan Liljeström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In the 77th minute, Roy Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niklas Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Sävström in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Torsten Aspengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Sävström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niklas Brodin came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Merts Fotbollskola's Torsten Aspengren. But to his dismay, Torsten Aspengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. 91 minutes into the match, Mathooja FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Mikaelsson came free, but Niklas Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Sävström in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Mathooja FK's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Jönsätt came free, but Niklas Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Mathooja FK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Merts Fotbollskola had held the ball for most of the match.
