In the 4th minute, Iphikles Spyridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelios Dalianis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Kilman, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 5 minutes into the game, one of Hanken BoIS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Stelios Dalianis went to the wrong direction when Emil Bergström was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 9th match minute, Hanken BoIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Björkman to maneuver through the defense. In the 10thth minute of the game Tony Mikaelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hanken BoIS's Stelios Dalianis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Merts Fotbollskola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Bergström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Mikaelsson in the 17th minute of play forced Hanken BoIS's goalkeeper Stelios Dalianis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merts Fotbollskola's Allan Liljeström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iphikles Spyridis in the 21st minute of play. Harry Björkman kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Hanken BoIS's Stelios Dalianis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Hanken BoIS from getting a goal against them. After 32 minutes of play, Hanken BoIS's Harry Björkman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Liljeström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iphikles Spyridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Allan Liljeström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Tony Mikaelsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stelios Dalianis, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Alin made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Iphikles Spyridis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Allan Liljeström, 1-2. Stelios Dalianis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Mikaelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Merts Fotbollskola's goalkeeper Allan Liljeström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Alin. Åke Alin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Adrian Ek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allan Liljeström came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrian Ek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 67th minute. Stelios Dalianis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hanken BoIS's Stelios Dalianis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Sävström in the 71st minute of play. Allan Liljeström was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Åke Alin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Åke Alin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The supporters of Merts Fotbollskola booed when Hanken BoIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Björkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Elliot Zander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hanken BoIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merts Fotbollskola the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hanken BoIS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Merts Fotbollskola. Emil Bergström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stelios Dalianis. 2-4. Stelios Dalianis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Kilman went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Merts Fotbollskola's Allan Liljeström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Merts Fotbollskola from getting a goal against them. In the 100th minute, Tony Mikaelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merts Fotbollskola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4.
