After 16 minutes, Henrik Fanström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jennifer FC and the Lokomotiv Ekhagen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Ulf Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jan-Erik Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Palm in the 34th minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Asplund, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jan-Erik Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Axelsson in the 39th minute of play. When Alvin Månsson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Ekhagen's protests and gave Alvin Månsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Lokomotiv Ekhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Månsson to maneuver through the defense. When Ernst Backman fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Ekhagen's protests and gave Ernst Backman a yellow card for diving instead. Fred Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Fredriksson having to interfere. Ulf Lundin was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ulf Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Carlsson in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Fredriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gilbert Palm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomas Söderqvist came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Jennifer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Söderqvist couldn't finish the play. Lokomotiv Ekhagen's Jan-Erik Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Söderqvist in the 65th minute of play. When Fred Axelsson came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Jennifer FC fans jumped to their feet. Jan-Erik Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jan-Erik Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jennifer FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
