Markus Öberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Wydad Wogel's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Wydad Wogel's Helge Lindell to fire away a dangerous shot which Bengt-Åke Nyman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Birger Mårtensson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Rickard Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Arenstedt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Wydad Wogel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Sven Carlsson fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jennifer FC's protests and gave Sven Carlsson a yellow card for diving instead. Evert Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Söderqvist in the 42nd minute of play. When Charles Lingren fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wydad Wogel's protests and gave Charles Lingren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Charles Lingren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rickard Arenstedt was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Wydad Wogel's Evert Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Tomas Söderqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jennifer FC's Bengt-Åke Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Arenstedt in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Henrik Fanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Söderqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Evert Gunnarsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
