A collision led to Lisebergskaninernas IF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Karl-Ove Fredriksson hit a great ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Bertil Löfgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lisebergskaninernas IF's Edvin Kullander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stockholm FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Lisebergskaninernas IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torsten Albom took the corner. After 29 played minutes Stockholm FC got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Brodin. Hjörleifur Hilmarsson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Edvin Kullander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholm FC. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bertil Löfgren sped through Lisebergskaninernas IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvin Kullander. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jonas Björnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisebergskaninernas IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Björnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Nordin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mats Njurenius fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lisebergskaninernas IF's protests and gave Mats Njurenius a yellow card for diving instead. When Stockholm FC's Bertil Löfgren in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Stockholm FC booed when Lisebergskaninernas IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Alberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Löfgren in the 75th minute of play forced Lisebergskaninernas IF's goalkeeper Edvin Kullander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Löfgren was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Stockholm FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edvin Kullander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Löfgren's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Nils-Emil Häger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Alberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Stockholm FC's goalkeeper Roland Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Löfgren in the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Kjell-Arne Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockholm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Brodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Stockholm FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lisebergskaninernas IF.
