Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bernt Rudqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Lokomotiv Tranås's Leif Björklund in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tobo's goalie prevented a goal. Bernt Rudqvist hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lokomotiv Tranås booed when Tobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Rudqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Björklund in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny Sundberg saved Tobo from getting behind. In the 28th minute Viktor Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Arne Månsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, Lokomotiv Tranås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Käller to maneuver through the defense. Eric Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Bernt Rudqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Rudqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Björklund scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Sundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Björklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Josef Lundgren hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Johnny Sundberg was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Leif Björklund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leif Björklund really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 60 played minutes Lokomotiv Tranås got a freekick which was hit by Michel Forsberg. Johnny Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Eric Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tobo and the Lokomotiv Tranås players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tobo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Eric Sundström hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lokomotiv Tranås's Leif Björklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Sundberg. That made the score 0-5 after 71 minutes of play. But to his dismay, Leif Björklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When Bernt Rudqvist fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tobo's protests and gave Bernt Rudqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lokomotiv Tranås booed when Tobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Rudqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Axel Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lokomotiv Tranås booed when Tobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Viklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tobo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lokomotiv Tranås were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
