Elof Borre might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Persson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elof Borre ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Stern Football Factory getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Börge Duset hit a great ball. Gösta Frykberg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sven-Erik Hedman sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, IFK Hisingen's Gösta Frykberg threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Einar Lindström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of IFK Hisingen booed when Stern Football Factory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Stern Football Factory's goalkeeper Gösta Frykberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Hedman. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Stern Football Factory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Einar Lindström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The IFK Hisingen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 73 minutes of play, IFK Hisingen's Sven-Erik Hedman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Frykberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th match minute, IFK Hisingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Klemensson to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Sven-Erik Hedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Frykberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Stern Football Factory's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Göransson came free, but Gösta Frykberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Hisingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes IFK Hisingen got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Vassenius. Anders Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
