The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Oviken RK's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Löfskog came free, but Conny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 10 in the game by Jimmie Eckegren from a close distance when the talented Valter Haeger managed to make a qualified save. Ellieton Football Club's players were relieved. Henrik Dalkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Valter Haeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valter Haeger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmie Eckegren in the 16th minute. Ellieton Football Club's Anton Löfskog got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ellieton Football Club's Valter Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Dalkvist in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Oviken RK's Henrik Dalkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrik Dalkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Valter Haeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anton Löfskog came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ellieton Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Löfskog couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Pihl in the 33rd minute of play forced Oviken RK's goalkeeper Conny Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ellieton Football Club's Harry Pihl got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Ellieton Football Club's Anton Löfskog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Sundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Oviken RK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rasmus Julin hit a great ball. Vilhelm Tingelholm's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Conny Sundström - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harry Pihl to make the kick off. Rasmus Julin struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Valter Haeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oviken RK. Conny Sundström came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Ellieton Football Club's Anton Löfskog. But to his dismay, Anton Löfskog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Anton Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Conny Sundström made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Anton Löfskog sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Harry Pihl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Tomas Harlén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ellieton Football Club and the Oviken RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ellieton Football Club's Tomas Harlén got a free kick in the 69th minute. Conny Sundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Löfskog in the 71st minute. Anton Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Oviken RK's Gert Andersson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Henrik Dalkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Haeger having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ellieton Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oviken RK.
