Olof Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Smedfeldt in the 9th minute of play. Bo Smedfeldt took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olof Wall. Olof Wall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Fc Samba's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Dalgren came free, but Olof Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Smedfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Ekblom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Knut Holmgren in the 22nd minute. Ulf Dalgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The tension between the Fc Samba and the Larsberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Axel Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Wall having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josef Askstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes Fc Samba got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Boström. Larsberg's Magne Snäll couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Samba. Bo Smedfeldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Olof Wall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Bo Smedfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Smedfeldt in the 76th minute. If Ulf Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Olof Wall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulf Dalgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 84 minute of play.
