The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Walmarsson during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hans Walmarsson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Valter Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Lindström in the 26th minute of the match. If Eric Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ellieton Football Club's Hans Walmarsson got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sven-Erik Hedman took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valter Haeger. Valter Haeger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Harry Pihl made the kick off in the second half. Anton Löfskog struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Kasper Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ellieton Football Club. Vilhelm Tingelholm's late challenge caught a IFK Hisingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Tingelholm helped the player get up and apologised. After a long run with the ball, Eric Palmquist did a trick in the 58th minute in front of Ellieton Football Club's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Harry Pihl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Anton Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ellieton Football Club! The Ellieton Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching IFK Hisingen's performance. The match ended with a win for IFK Hisingen.
