After a rather tough play, Oviken RK's Henrik Dalkvist got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Karl-Erik Carlberg made a precise shot to the right of Conny Sundström. Oviken RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Andersson in the 14th minute of play forced Stern Football Factory's goalkeeper Gösta Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Oviken RK booed when Stern Football Factory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Dalkvist took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gösta Frykberg. Gösta Frykberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Eckegren in the 25th minute of play forced Stern Football Factory's goalkeeper Gösta Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Conny Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stern Football Factory. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jimmie Eckegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stern Football Factory's Gösta Frykberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Niklas Gallin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Gallin in the 53rd minute of play forced Oviken RK's goalkeeper Conny Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henrik Dalkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Joachim Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmie Eckegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gösta Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmie Eckegren got free with Gösta Frykberg in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Stern Football Factory's Leonard Rosén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Sundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmie Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gösta Frykberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Dalkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Henrik Dalkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Stern Football Factory getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Börge Duset hit a great ball. When Henrik Dalkvist came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Oviken RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Dalkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd match minute, Oviken RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Conny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Tunberg in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oviken RK's zone, Leonard Rosén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Sundström came out of the goal and Leonard Rosén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Sundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Gallin's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Rasmus Julin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Jimmie Eckegren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gösta Frykberg. Stern Football Factory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmie Eckegren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Oviken RK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oviken RK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
