Oskar Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Persson having to interfere. Oskar Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Arenius kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Hedman got free with Erik Almstedt in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Hybbert kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Phibsborough Fox's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Lindström came free, but Erik Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes, Kenny Eriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Hisingen and the Phibsborough Fox players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, IFK Hisingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Kenneth Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Einar Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Almstedt was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Einar Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Einar Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Hedman got free with Erik Almstedt in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Erik Hedman struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Erik Almstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Hisingen. After a rather tough play, Phibsborough Fox's Mattias Asklund got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Einar Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Brun made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Anders Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Sven-Erik Hedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Phibsborough Fox booed when IFK Hisingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Oskar Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, IFK Hisingen's Einar Lindström made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Almstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute Einar Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Phibsborough Fox getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mattias Asklund hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Gottfrid Hök shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Almstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Hedman in the 88th minute of play forced Phibsborough Fox's goalkeeper Erik Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Hisingen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Phibsborough Fox for a fine match.
