After a defensive mix-up in Oviken RK's zone, Sven-Erik Hedman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Sundström came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Hedman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ted Nyman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Ted Nyman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kasper Persson skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Oviken RK defense, Sven-Erik Hedman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conny Sundström. The Oviken RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conny Sundström should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Einar Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Erik Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IFK Hisingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oviken RK the free kick. Anders Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Conny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Einar Lindström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conny Sundström. That made the score 0-2 in the 91 minute of play. If Einar Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Oviken RK got a freekick which was hit by Erland Hultman. Einar Lindström charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Einar Lindström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, IFK Hisingen's Einar Lindström got a free kick in the 98th minute. The Oviken RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IFK Hisingen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
