A collision led to Mellerud IK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Allan Magnusson hit a great ball. When Björn Bäckström came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Gillhov UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Bäckström couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mellerud IK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kenny Blanck hit a great ball. Martin Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Melker Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mellerud IK's Dag Öberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mellerud IK booed when Gillhov UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Mellerud IK's Andreas Bagge made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 魏坚泉 was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 47 in the game by Martin Engström from a close distance when the talented Melker Alströmmer managed to make a qualified save. Mellerud IK's players were relieved.

The wind increased when Andreas Bagge made the kick off in the second half. Björn Bäckström kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Dag Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gillhov UFC's 魏坚泉 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Bagge in the 53rd minute of play. Mellerud IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Sigfridsson in the 60th minute. It was a well-played corner which Timmy Högman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Andreas Bagge took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 魏坚泉. 魏坚泉 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jon Westerstrand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melker Alströmmer. Mellerud IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Melker Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Bäckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dag Öbergs short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got 魏坚泉 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th minute, Andreas Bagge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mellerud IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 81st minute, Kenny Blanck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melker Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Mellerud IK's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Engström came free, but Melker Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mellerud IK's Melker Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Bäckström in the 89th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Andreas Bagge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gillhov UFC's 魏坚泉 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 94 in the game by Dag Öberg from a close distance when the talented 魏坚泉 managed to make a qualified save. Gillhov UFC's players were relieved. In the 96th minute of the match, Dag Öberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but 魏坚泉 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Mellerud IK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gillhov UFC.
