Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kjell-Arne Nord took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lars-Erik Påk might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tage Trillkott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars-Erik Påk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute, one of Tråvad IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tråvad IF. In the 5th minute, Sandviken got a penalty, and Andreas Boklund placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 7th minute Kjell-Arne Nord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tage Trillkott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Löfgren in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Bäckman during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tråvad IF's Börje Bäckman got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Sandviken's Lars-Erik Påk made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tage Trillkott was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ryszard Poling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kjell-Arne Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Sandviken's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Nord came free, but Ryszard Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tråvad IF's Tage Trillkott got control of the ball when Lars-Erik Påk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandviken's Lars-Erik Påk got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars-Erik Påk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Tage Trillkott skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lars-Erik Påk had several of the Tråvad IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Tage Trillkott as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Lars-Erik Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Erik Påk took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tage Trillkott. Tage Trillkott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 48 minutes into the match, Tråvad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Påk came free, but Tage Trillkott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars-Erik Påk was the one to do the kick off. Nicklas Söderquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ryszard Poling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, Sandviken's goalkeeper Ryszard Poling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Ennegren. If Lars-Erik Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Liljeström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tage Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars-Erik Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tage Trillkott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Påk in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Leonardo Arenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars-Erik Påk in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tage Trillkott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sandviken booed when Tråvad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Lars-Erik Påk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Leonardo Arenberg made a precise shot to the right of Tage Trillkott. Tråvad IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Olov Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandviken's Ryszard Poling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Sandviken from getting a goal against them.
