After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustaf Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leksons Klonkar's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melker Alströmmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Magnusson during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mellerud IK had won after a very even match.
