After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Per Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Podgrmec's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roger Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Polhems Juniorer fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Polhems Juniorer's Roger Wallin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reine Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Holger Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Peder Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Lind having to interfere. Alexander Nyberg took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Lind. Holger Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 65th minute, Peder Jönsson made a precise shot to the right of Holger Lind. Polhems Juniorer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nyberg in the 71st minute of play forced Polhems Juniorer's goalkeeper Holger Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Oskar Örn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Holger Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Larsson in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, NK Podgrmec's Peder Jönsson made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Lind was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Polhems Juniorer defense, Karl-Oskar Örn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Lind. The Polhems Juniorer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Lind should have stopped the shot. Alexander Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Holger Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NK Podgrmec's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
