Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lars-Erik Påk took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anders Danielsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Påk's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Sandviken's Lars-Erik Påk in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Okq8 FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anders Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Scott in the 12th minute of the match. Ryszard Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Olofsson in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Lars-Erik Påk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Nordström got free with Ryszard Poling in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sandviken's Leonardo Arenberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sandviken were furious when Leonardo Arenberg was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in Okq8 FC's zone, Olov Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Danielsson came out of the goal and Olov Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Lars-Erik Påk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandviken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sandviken's Michael Liljeström got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Greger Olofsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Michael Liljeström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Danielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Liljeström in the 64th minute of play. Olov Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Olov Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anders Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Liljeström in the 77th minute of the match. If Olov Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Okq8 FC's zone, Olov Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Danielsson came out of the goal and Olov Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Månsson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Sandviken played a much better game than Okq8 FC and deserved their victory. The Okq8 FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
