Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Calle Högström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Bagge in the 9th minute of play forced Dirty G FC's goalkeeper Ernst Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Dirty G FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Sigfridsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernst Holmgren. Dirty G FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ernst Holmgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Bagge went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Bagge in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Dirty G FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Bagge came free, but Ernst Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dag Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dag Öberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernst Holmgren was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Dag Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Holmgren having to interfere. David Bergvall charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Bergvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernst Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mellerud IK were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Dirty G FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrian Sigfridsson took the corner. Timmy Högman charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmy Högman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Mellerud IK got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Högman. Dirty G FC's Ernst Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Bagge in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute Dag Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Andreas Bagge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernst Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Mellerud IK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kenny Blanck hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andreas Bagge to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Dirty G FC's Ernst Holmgren got control of the ball when Kenny Blanck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Dag Öberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mellerud IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 58th match minute, Mellerud IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Öberg to maneuver through the defense. Calle Högström struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Melker Alströmmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dirty G FC. Dag Öberg in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernst Holmgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ernst Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Bagge in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dirty G FC defense, Andreas Bagge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernst Holmgren. The Dirty G FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernst Holmgren should have stopped the shot. Ernst Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Dirty G FC defense, Dag Öberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernst Holmgren. The Dirty G FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernst Holmgren should have stopped the shot. If Andreas Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute of the match, Dag Öberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernst Holmgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st match minute, Dirty G FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Mellerud IK's Dag Öberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernst Holmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dag Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernst Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Bagge in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenny Blanck during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mellerud IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
