The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Nordström in the 3rd minute of play forced Leksons Klonkar's goalkeeper Gustaf Bjursell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Leksons Klonkar booed when Okq8 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Holm struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Anders Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leksons Klonkar. Gustaf Bjursell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Torsten Eklund fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leksons Klonkar's protests and gave Torsten Eklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute of the match André Stenkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaf Bjursell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alfons Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Danielsson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaf Nordin got free with Anders Danielsson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Okq8 FC! In the 31st minute, Leksons Klonkar got a penalty, and Alfons Ivarsson placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 34th minute, Henrik Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaf Bjursell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 39th minute, Per Bammerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Stenkvist's late challenge caught a Leksons Klonkar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Stenkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Alfons Ivarsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Hans Holm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Danielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Gustaf Nordin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Anders Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leksons Klonkar. When Leksons Klonkar's Hans Holm in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anders Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Holm in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Greger Olofsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustaf Bjursell, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrik Månsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustaf Bjursell. That made the score 3-3 in the 65 minute of play. Leksons Klonkar's Gustaf Bjursell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Leksons Klonkar from getting a goal against them. Leksons Klonkar's Gustaf Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Okq8 FC's Bengt Nordström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Bjursell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Leksons Klonkar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Greger Olofsson scored to the left of an out of position Gustaf Bjursell, making the score, 3-5. 84 minutes into the match, Leksons Klonkar's goal looked a bit too open when Per Bammerman came free, but Gustaf Bjursell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Hans Holm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Danielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. If Hans Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Bengt Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Okq8 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Nordström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Leksons Klonkar's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Olofsson came free, but Gustaf Bjursell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
