An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Dalström in the 5th minute of play forced Landeryd's goalkeeper Mattias Ryberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Ryberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Dalström's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Johannes Söderqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Nye RK's Alvin Berggren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mattias Ryberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nye RK reached it. If Ove Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ove Sundström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Ryberg. After having played for 25 minutes, Sixten Bocklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landeryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Bocklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Edvard Lundhberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Thomas Dalström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nye RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Dalström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Ryberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ove Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Sundström might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Ryberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Sundström ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 minutes, Thomas Dalström made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Landeryd's Mattias Ryberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ove Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Ryberg having to interfere. When Nye RK's Ove Sundström, in the 46th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Nye RK. In the 48th minute Ove Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Ryberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Sundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mattias Ryberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Dalström in the 52nd minute. The Nye RK fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Nye RK's Thomas Dalström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Rune Lindgren charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Lindgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nye RK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rune Lindgren hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Landeryd's Marcus Vennerberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Thomas Dalström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nye RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Dalström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
