A collision led to Kolarby AFK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kenny Liljeström hit a great ball. When Dick Ljungberg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kolarby AFK's protests and gave Dick Ljungberg a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Gierlach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Andberg in the 18th minute. Tri Trapaidze took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victor Rosendal. Rotvalla IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Andberg got free with Leon Gierlach in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 31 minutes, Allan Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotvalla IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Andberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kolarby AFK's Johan Åman got a free kick in the 35th minute. Leon Gierlach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Andberg in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helge Houdini in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Rosendal saved Rotvalla IF from getting behind. Victor Rosendal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Houdini in the 45th minute of the match. Allan Andberg took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Gierlach. Leon Gierlach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helge Houdini to make the kick off. If Georg Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Lundström in the 60th minute of play forced Rotvalla IF's goalkeeper Victor Rosendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Rosendal made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Helge Houdini sent off a good shot on target. Georg Lundström hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kolarby AFK's Johan Åman got a free kick in the 67th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Helge Houdini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Rosendal. Rotvalla IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helge Houdini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kolarby AFK's Isac Alströmmer got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Andersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Gierlach having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Rotvalla IF's Karl-Magnus Fagerberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. Georg Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Rosendal having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Rotvalla IF's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Lundström came free, but Victor Rosendal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes Rotvalla IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tri Trapaidze who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Gottfrid Stigsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 91st match minute, Kolarby AFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Stigsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rotvalla IF's zone, Georg Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Rosendal came out of the goal and Georg Lundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Isac Alströmmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Lundström struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Victor Rosendal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kolarby AFK. Rotvalla IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kolarby AFK for a fine match.
