Gustav Stålman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nils Caspersson fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored unitofswe's protests and gave Nils Caspersson a yellow card for diving instead. Gustav Stålman went to the wrong direction when Harald Sjödin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tidaholm IF's Christoffer Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Holmgren in the 16th minute of play. Christoffer Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Samuelsson in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, unitofswe's Anton Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Tobias Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Broman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustav Stålman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marko Broman ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Tidaholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Kielberg came free, but Christoffer Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Harald Sjödin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidaholm IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Sjödin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Stålman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoffer Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Bergman in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Tidaholm IF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marko Broman hit a great ball. Christoffer Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by unitofswe's Stig Holmgren. But to his dismay, Stig Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 41st minute, Martin Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Holmgren in the 42nd minute of play forced Tidaholm IF's goalkeeper Christoffer Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffer Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Samuelsson in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Magne Sävström made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Bengt-Åke Lundhberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, unitofswe's Brian Samuelsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Tobias Svanström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tidaholm IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Svanström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Åke Lundhberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustav Stålman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Åke Lundhberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Marko Broman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gustav Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, unitofswe's Stig Holmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christoffer Fredriksson. Christoffer Fredriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Magne Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Stålman having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Tobias Svanström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tidaholm IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Bengt-Åke Lundhberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tobias Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
