But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliott Gernberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tidaholm IF getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Harald Sjödin hit a great ball. When Jesper Knutsson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tidaholm IF's protests and gave Jesper Knutsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Jesper Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Thomas Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Fredriksson was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Marcus Vennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Edvard Lundhberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landeryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Lundhberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sixten Bocklund scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoffer Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Landeryd's goalkeeper Mattias Ryberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sören Torstensson. Alfons Rolfsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mattias Ryberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfons Rolfsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Sören Torstensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Ryberg was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute of the match, Marko Broman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mattias Ryberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 34 minutes into the game, Alfons Rolfsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mattias Ryberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfons Rolfsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Ryberg having to make a save. Christoffer Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Lundhberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Torstensson in the 51st minute of play forced Landeryd's goalkeeper Mattias Ryberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Vennerberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Sören Torstensson put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Ryberg. Landeryd's Mattias Ryberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Rolfsson in the 57th minute of play. Mattias Ryberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Rolfsson in the 58th minute of the match. Tidaholm IF's Sören Torstensson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoffer Fredriksson was a little too slow when Sixten Bocklund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 4-2. Mattias Ryberg came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tidaholm IF's Harald Sjödin. But to his dismay, Harald Sjödin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Tobias Svanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Landeryd's Mattias Ryberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Torstensson in the 79th minute of play. Paul Åkesson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Landeryd's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Torstensson came free, but Mattias Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Tidaholm IF's Alfons Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Ryberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Mattias Ryberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Broman in the 88th minute of the match. Christoffer Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Edvard Lundhberg sent off a good shot on target. Tidaholm IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
