In the 7th minute, Zula Puszynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes, Bertil Stål mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardenner Club De Fútbol and the Arsenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Ardenner Club De Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Stål. After 10 played minutes, Arsenal FC's Sven-Edvin Strömberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Vestberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal FC reached it. After having played for 11 minutes, Tom Bergdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardenner Club De Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Bergdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sigvard Lundkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Bergdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Sven-Edvin Strömberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sigvard Lundkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Bergdal went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the game, Ardenner Club De Fútbol's Bob Bonk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sigvard Lundkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sigvard Lundkvist came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ardenner Club De Fútbol's Tom Bergdal. But to his dismay, Tom Bergdal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Ardenner Club De Fútbol fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Ardenner Club De Fútbol's Tom Bergdal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tom Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sigvard Lundkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Bergdal went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Malte Boström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sven-Edvin Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malte Boström took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Vestberg. Michael Vestberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Tom Bergdal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Ardenner Club De Fútbol getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. August Lindgren hit a great ball. Tom Bergdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigvard Lundkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Bergdal ran back to his position shaking his head. Ardenner Club De Fútbol's Rodion Bumagin was substituted for Bob Bonk. After 70 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Nyberg. Ardenner Club De Fútbol's Håkan Persson was substituted for Alvin Öberg. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Sven-Oskar Nyberg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sigvard Lundkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Bergdal went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. When Tom Bergdal came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ardenner Club De Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Bergdal couldn't finish the play. Michael Vestberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Rodion Bumagin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sigvard Lundkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Bergdal's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Ardenner Club De Fútbol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
