Spectators: 7442 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andreas Hedkvist made the kick off which started today's match. A hard shot by Linus Kruse from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Henry Björklund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 7th match minute, Stocksund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Häll to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Lennart Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NY Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Vidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Ahlin during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Ahlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Henry Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Erik Ahlroht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrad Arhenius took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesper Garvetti. Jesper Garvetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 36 minutes into the game, Fredrik Lindblom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NY Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stocksund the free kick. The supporters of Stocksund booed when NY Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Lindblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Stocksund's Andreas Hedkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesper Garvetti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 45 minutes, Andreas Hedkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stocksund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Hedkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The NY Rangers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stocksund were winning 0-2.

Jesper Garvetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konrad Arhenius in the 52nd minute. Andreas Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Andreas Hedkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesper Garvetti made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jonny Runeberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Konrad Arhenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Garvetti was a little too slow when Andreas Hedkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-4. Jesper Garvetti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Georg Larsson. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind NY Rangers's goalkeeper Jesper Garvetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play NY Rangers's Fredrik Lindblom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fredrik Lindblom hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stocksund walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
