Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Lindholm got the match started through his kick off. Södertälje Fc's Thomas Lindholm was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Thomas Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södertälje Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Lindholms short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Sigvard Lundkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Södertälje Fc's Olov Dahlman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sigvard Lundkvist. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Malte Boström charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Boström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Södertälje Fc booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Sven-Edvin Strömberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Koldo Feria skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Thomas Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sigvard Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristian Löfkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Åkesson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Sven-Edvin Strömberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Koldo Feria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sigvard Lundkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Lindholm's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Thomas Lindholm came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Södertälje Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Lindholm couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, Södertälje Fc's Kwame Amokachi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sigvard Lundkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 40 minutes Arsenal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olov Dahlman who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 51 minutes, Bengt-Arne Bäckman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal FC and the Södertälje Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Bäckman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Kristian Löfkvist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Koldo Feria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Boström in the 58th minute. Södertälje Fc's Koldo Feria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Mossberg in the 59th minute of play. Koldo Feria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sigvard Lundkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Lindholm in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Södertälje Fc booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Olov Dahlman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigvard Lundkvist. Arsenal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Dahlman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Max Haglund put in a rough tackle. 86 minutes into the game, one of Arsenal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Olov Dahlman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! William Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sigvard Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Thomas Lindholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's Sigvard Lundkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Georg Mossberg. 94 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Dahlman came free, but Sigvard Lundkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Lindholm in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sigvard Lundkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Södertälje Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
