The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Lindholm got free with Otto Benett in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Thomas Lindholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Benett was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 30th match minute, Norrtälje IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Wallin to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Södertälje Fc got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Löfkvist. Södertälje Fc's William Larsson was substituted for Kristian Löfkvist. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Smed to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Thomas Lindholm sped through Norrtälje IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otto Benett.
