After some careless play in the Knäcka nötter defense, Fritz Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Fredriksson. The Knäcka nötter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Fredriksson should have stopped the shot. Viktor Malmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Fredriksson having to interfere. The supporters of Mariannelund booed when Knäcka nötter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Viktor Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariannelund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Malmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gottfrid Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Knäcka nötter booed when Mariannelund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Vestlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottfrid Moberg to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Gottfrid Moberg made a precise shot to the right of Johan Säf. Mariannelund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottfrid Moberg in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Säf saved Mariannelund from getting behind. Johan Säf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Moberg in the 67th minute of the match. Johan Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ståhlman in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Helge Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Knäcka nötter's Gottfrid Moberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Säf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gottfrid Moberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Johan Säf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Helge Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Knäcka nötter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Hellbom couldn't finish the play. Johan Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Johan Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Moberg in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Knäcka nötter were the better team. Knäcka nötter's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
