All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Erik Hård made a kick off. Karl-Johan Söderman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Bengt-Arne Alström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Söderman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Övids Änglar FC's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Söderman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Övids Änglar FC's Jens-Erik Hård dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Sandberg during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Övids Änglar FC booed when Söderbärke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klas Kruse's late challenge caught a Söderbärke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Hedlund hit a great ball. Jens-Erik Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Dan Nordmark made a huge save. After 94 played minutes Söderbärke got a freekick which was hit by Christer Åhlberg. After 96 minutes, Håkan Albäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Övids Änglar FC and the Söderbärke players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Övids Änglar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Albäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Agne Sandström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Johan Söderman skillfully saved the ball. Söderbärke were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
