Ragnar Stål received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Karl-Johan Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Karl Wester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Klas Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Söderman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Benett, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Slottsparken FF booed when Övids Änglar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Kruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Tobias Benett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Söderman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Erik Hård to make the kick off. Karl Wester's late challenge caught a Slottsparken FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slottsparken FF's Jonatan Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Kruse in the 85th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Slottsparken FF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Almqvist. Jonatan Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Kruse in the 93rd minute of play. Klas Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Benet having to interfere. The Slottsparken FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Slottsparken FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
