Agne Sandström, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tenhult's Vidar Vallman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Bivall in the 11th minute of play. Egil Tham kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Agne Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Söderbärke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Sandström couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Söderbärke's goalkeeper Dan Nordmark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Klintæus. Vidar Vallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Egil Tham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Nordmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vidar Vallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Tenhult's Michael Klintæus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dan Nordmark. Dan Nordmark yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Söderbärke's Christer Åhlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tenhult getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Paul Lindqvist hit a great ball. Pär Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pär Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Söderbärke booed when Tenhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Bivall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Bivall got free with Vidar Vallman in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Tenhult's goalkeeper Vidar Vallman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Bivall. In the 73rd minute Michael Klintæus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Bengt-Arne Alström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Söderbärke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Alström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rudolf Bivall came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Söderbärke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Bivall couldn't finish the play. Bengt Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Rudolf Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vidar Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Lindqvist during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 88 minutes into the match, Söderbärke's Douglas Bållström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidar Vallman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Söderbärke booed when Tenhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Målare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agne Sandström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
