Sven Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Kingriver FC's Andy Björklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Granqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Karl-Axel Olenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Freddie Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Sven Hedström. Kingriver FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Karl-Axel Olenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute Freddie Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Karl-Axel Olenberg made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Snäppvägen IK's zone, Andy Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Granqvist came out of the goal and Andy Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddie Fredriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddie Fredriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Karl-Axel Olenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingriver FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Axel Olenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Granqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddie Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sven Hedström made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Freddie Fredriksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven Hedström. Freddie Fredriksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 84 minutes into the match, Kingriver FC's goalkeeper Sven Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Holm. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Lundin got free with Sven Hedström in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sven Hedström made a huge save. Snäppvägen IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
