Jonatan Benet came out of the goal and Ronny Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ronny Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Benet was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Fructuoso Valerón capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fructuoso Valerón really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tobias Benett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tobias Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Tobias Benett put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ib Schnipper. In the 29th minute Tobias Benett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ib Schnipper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ronny Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Magnusson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Fructuoso Valerón kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Åke Bolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fructuoso Valerón in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Benett to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fructuoso Valerón in the 54th minute of play forced Slottsparken FF's goalkeeper Jonatan Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agne Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jonatan Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fructuoso Valerón in the 62nd minute of play forced Slottsparken FF's goalkeeper Jonatan Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fructuoso Valerón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Benett got free with Ib Schnipper in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tobias Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slottsparken FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ib Schnipper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lenhovda's Mårten Söderquist got a free kick in the 79th minute. Kenny Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ib Schnipper having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Wikander in the 82nd minute of play forced Lenhovda's goalkeeper Ib Schnipper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kenny Grönberg fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slottsparken FF's protests and gave Kenny Grönberg a yellow card for diving instead. Ragnar Stål hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Slottsparken FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Magnusson came free, but Jonatan Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Kenny Wikander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slottsparken FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lenhovda the free kick. After a rather tough play, Slottsparken FF's Kenny Wikander got a free kick in the 91st minute. Tobias Benett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ib Schnipper made a huge save.
