Knäcka nötter's Joar Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Sandström in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Douglas Bållström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Dennis Aspengren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Fredriksson. Knäcka nötter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Aspengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 30th minute Gottfrid Moberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Knäcka nötter getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valentin Kalfhage hit a great ball. Bernt Bern charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Bern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Bernt Bern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Bengt-Arne Alström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Söderbärke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Alström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Hedlund's late challenge caught a Knäcka nötter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Hedlund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Söderbärke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Åhlberg in the 45th minute of play forced Knäcka nötter's goalkeeper Joar Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Åhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gottfrid Moberg was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Knäcka nötter booed when Söderbärke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joar Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Knäcka nötter's David Ståhlman got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Knäcka nötter got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Snäll. In the 63rd match minute, Knäcka nötter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Ambjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joar Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Sandström in the 67th minute of play forced Knäcka nötter's goalkeeper Joar Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Knäcka nötter defense, Christer Åhlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Fredriksson. The Knäcka nötter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Fredriksson should have stopped the shot. Joar Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Söderbärke's Dennis Aspengren. But to his dismay, Dennis Aspengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Knäcka nötter getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Björn Sjöberg hit a great ball. Bengt-Arne Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Fredriksson having to interfere. Joar Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Bållström in the 86th minute of play. David Ståhlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dan Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Söderbärke booed when Knäcka nötter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Agne Sandström notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Knäcka nötter's Joar Fredriksson. Joar Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Söderbärke's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
