Hjalmar Rolandsson's late challenge caught a Kingriver FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjalmar Rolandsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Mariannelund got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Rolandsson. In the 37th minute of the match Harry Granberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Säf skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Viktor Malmgren came free in the 52nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Sven Hedström, but to the joy of Kingriver FC's supporters the ball went over. 67 minutes into the match, Mariannelund's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Björklund came free, but Johan Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gottfrid Ekström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johan Säf came out and tried to block the shot, but Gottfrid Ekström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 69th minute. Simon Stålman charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Stålman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Kingriver FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Stålman. If Viktor Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariannelund's goalkeeper Johan Säf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Although Mariannelund had been in control for most of the match, Kingriver FC still came away with the win.
