The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Georg Bock came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Kenty Linköping's Raymond Darwis. But to his dismay, Raymond Darwis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Örebro SK's Georg Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Etxahun in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Erik Lindström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Georg Bock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Georg Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Darwis in the 23rd minute of play. Wladyslaw Panasewicz took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Bock. Georg Bock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 27th match minute, BK Kenty Linköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Panasewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Walter Löfgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Kenty Linköping and the Örebro SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BK Kenty Linköping getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Walter Löfgren hit a great ball. After 37 minutes, Raymond Darwis made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Örebro SK's Georg Bock tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Wladyslaw Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Christian Widberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örebro SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Widberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pelle Forsman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half BK Kenty Linköping were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raymond Darwis to strike the kick off in the second half. Raymond Darwis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 56th playminute. BK Kenty Linköping made a substitution. Radomil Tarasek replaced Albin Offendahl. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Örebro SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belton Maddern was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Kenty Linköping's players had a chance to rest. Christer Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Pelle Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Wojtyna in the 67th minute of play. Wladyslaw Panasewicz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Pelle Forsman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute Bertil Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örebro SK's Georg Bock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Örebro SK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Erik Lindström could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Georg Bock however easily saved by the left post. Wladyslaw Panasewicz's late challenge caught a Örebro SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wladyslaw Panasewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BK Kenty Linköping's Wladyslaw Panasewicz got a free kick in the 89th minute. BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Widberg in the 92nd minute of play.
