In the 10th minute of the match, Mats Lindberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sven-Erik Siöberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jan Wallgren took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Erik Siöberg. Sven-Erik Siöberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dan Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Persson having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Per-Oskar Björk made a precise shot to the right of Michael Persson. Långholmen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sven-Erik Siöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Knut Back tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Erik Siöberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Täby BK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Albert Sandwall hit a great ball. With a little luck, Täby BK's Sven-Erik Siöberg got control of the ball when Jan Wallgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Täby BK's Nils Cane got a free kick in the 31st minute. Sven-Erik Siöberg stood somewhat misplaced when Mats Lindberg came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Mats Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sven-Erik Siöberg made a huge save. Sven-Erik Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Wallgren in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Per-Oskar Björk made a precise shot to the right of Michael Persson. Långholmen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Långholmen FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Michael Persson had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Per-Oskar Björk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Knut Back came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Långholmen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Back couldn't finish the play.

Jan-Olof Vennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Persson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Wallgren in the 56th minute of play forced Täby BK's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Siöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Persson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Per-Oskar Björk sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Jan Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Täby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Back came free, but Sven-Erik Siöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Långholmen FC's Knut Back in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Täby BK's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ralf Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Långholmen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Julin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Erik Siöberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Erik Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Back in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Wallgren in the 90th minute of play forced Täby BK's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Siöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Erik Siöberg came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Långholmen FC's Knut Back. But to his dismay, Knut Back quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Per-Oskar Björk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michael Persson firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Långholmen FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Täby BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
