Sung Cornell was a little too slow when Sigvard Brun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. It was beautiful to see Manchester FF's Carl Lidman in action when he in the 33rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Alfons Österlund struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sung Cornell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svängsta RK. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester FF's goalkeeper Sung Cornell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 50th minute Svängsta RK were awarded a corner. Hugo Wallander went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Wallander got away a dangerous shot. Sung Cornell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Österlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The Manchester FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
