The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Per-Åke Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, HEPATIT C IF's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Jelm came free, but Jerry Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Ingemarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, HEPATIT C IF's goal looked a bit too open when William Samuelsson came free, but Jerry Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Stig-Åke Jelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Nordmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute, Ludwig Dalman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes of play, Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerry Nordmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Per-Oskar Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, HEPATIT C IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Skoog came free, but Jerry Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jerry Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Per-Oskar Ingemarsson fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glimåkra's protests and gave Per-Oskar Ingemarsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glimåkra getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Per-Oskar Ingemarsson hit a great ball. Ludwig Dalman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Per-Åke Norström struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Per-Arne Sandell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HEPATIT C IF. After the first half Glimåkra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Åke Norström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bengt Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HEPATIT C IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Per-Arne Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Norström in the 55th minute of play. Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Oskar Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Westerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Glimåkra's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Johansson came free, but Per-Arne Sandell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Dalman kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Petter Sjödin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Peter Finman kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Glimåkra left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HEPATIT C IF.
