Glimåkra's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Dalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Per-Oskar Ingemarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludwig Dalman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kenny Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Åke Jelm was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Glimåkra's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th play minute Per-Oskar Ingemarsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kenny Åkerman. 1-0. Stig-Åke Jelm struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Kenny Åkerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glimåkra. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Sjöberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kenny Åkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Jelm in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to The Kop Boys getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jakob Ekgren hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Jelm struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kenny Åkerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Kenny Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Jelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kenny Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Ingemarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Petter Sjödin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The Kop Boys's Kenny Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Jelm in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in The Kop Boys's zone, Stig-Åke Jelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Åkerman came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Jelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Glimåkra's Per-Arne Sandell got control of the ball when Walter Kullander tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Walter Kullander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glimåkra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
