The supporters of Lineol Boys booed when Glimåkra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Stabbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Snorre Hård charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 40 minutes, Rafal Purzycki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lineol Boys and the Glimåkra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Rafal Purzycki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Arne Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Ruud, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casper Ruud made a kick off. Snorre Hård recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Arne Sandell made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Casper Ruud sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th match minute, Glimåkra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Stabbe to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lineol Boys booed when Glimåkra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Vilhelm Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
