In the 12th minute, Casper Ruud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lineol Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Reine Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Claes Wennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Ståhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Lineol Boys's Jan-Åke Nordin got control of the ball when Sten Tidén tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Snorre Hård couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casper Ruud was the one to do the kick off. If Sten Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Lineol Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Palm came free, but Jan-Åke Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
