Vilhelm Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Nordmark having to interfere. Bengt Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ingemar Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Per-Oskar Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kop Boys's Per-Oskar Albohm managed to work through HEPATIT C IF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Per-Oskar Albohm dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Bengt Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingemar Hultstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Norström, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Per-Oskar Albohm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jerry Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, HEPATIT C IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Oskar Albohm got free with Jerry Nordmark in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes HEPATIT C IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Georg Östlund who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute, The Kop Boys's Vilhelm Eliasson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jerry Nordmark. Jerry Nordmark yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Oskar Albohm got free with Jerry Nordmark in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Norström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vilhelm Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kop Boys's Ingemar Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Norström in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, HEPATIT C IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Eliasson came free, but Jerry Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Per-Oskar Albohm put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jerry Nordmark. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Eliasson in the 64th minute of play forced HEPATIT C IF's goalkeeper Jerry Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Oskar Albohm in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Nordmark saved HEPATIT C IF from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, HEPATIT C IF's Bengt Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingemar Hultstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ingemar Hultstrand was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Per-Åke Norström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per-Åke Norström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. 96 minutes into the match, HEPATIT C IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Eliasson came free, but Jerry Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
