Spectators: 7501 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 150) Elden Ringers's Nils-Emil Eliasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Elden Ringers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Strand to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Raul Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Axel Skytt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Holger Kalfhage struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sakarias Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elden Ringers. Elden Ringers's Karl-Axel Skytt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Sandalio in the 20th minute of play. Sakarias Åkesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Holger Kalfhage went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dolan FC! Nils Jakobsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Nils-Emil Eliasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sakarias Åkesson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kjell-Arne Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Karl-Axel Skytt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dolan FC. Karl-Axel Skytt came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolan FC's Stefan Molander. But to his dismay, Stefan Molander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kjell-Arne Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Karl-Axel Skytt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Bergqvist was the one to do the kick off. If Kjell-Arne Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Erik Molin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Kjell-Arne Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Dolan FC booed when Elden Ringers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Strand didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Dolan FC's Karl-Axel Skytt threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kjell-Arne Bergqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 75th match minute, Elden Ringers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Strand during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Tage Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Dolan FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Molander. After a defensive mix-up in Elden Ringers's zone, Kjell-Arne Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Skytt came out of the goal and Kjell-Arne Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell-Arne Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Skytt having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dolan FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
